This great event is for rugby clubs who want to try something a little different. This two-day event is played on a shortened sand pitch and contested by 12 man squads with only 5 allowed on the pitch at any one time. The action is fast and furious as rolling subs are allowed during the ten minute games - just as well with the surface and the sun taking its toll. Away from the rugby, the seaside resort of Bibione offers plenty of distractions.

This will be the 11th Southern Skies Tournament and once again the organisers will be welcoming school and club teams from around the world. The goal of the event is "uniting the spirit of youth" with Australia, England, Scoltland, Wales, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, China and many more represented over the years. In addition to the rugby tournament, there are competitions for football (boys' U13, U16, U18 & girls' U18), hockey (boys' U18 & girls's U18) and netball (girls' U16 & U18). This amazing trip offers a once in a lifetime experience for junior teams to tackle rugby in South America. Participants begin this epic trip in Buenos Aires, the Argentine capital, where you will enjoy two training sessions and a match against local opposition before transferring to Montevideo in Uruguay. Here you will enter the El Carrasco Rugby Tournament, a three day event where your team can test itself against South American competition. There are a host of additional trips and excursions possible, as well as a girls hockey tournament that runs alongside the rugby.

A two day junior rugby tournament based in the Portuguese capital, a city that offers all the amenities of urban living alongside easy access to the stunning coast and some of the best beaches in the country. An annual International Youth Tournament situated about 80km East of Paris. In the last 4 years the tournament played host to teams from France, South Africa, New Zealand, Russia , Italy, The national teams of Thailand and Luxemburg, England, Belgium and The Netherlands. Each team is rewarded and each competitor will receive a souvenir of the tournament.

One of the largest Mini/Junior Rugby Festivals in Europe, 2009 is the 30th annual edition of this well organised two day tournament. Teams from all over Europe compete against each other for the Topolino Trophy. A closing ceremony and presentation will take place at the end of the second day. Teams are accommodated in the resort of Lido di Jesolo nearby.
